We recently purchased four brand new Michelin all-weather tires manufactured in 2025 and had them installed for $1,200, which turned out to be an excellent price compared to other shops we called. We felt like we were getting a very fresh product and not something that had been sitting in a warehouse for years. In our opinion, the prices here are also quite negotiable depending on the brand and availability, so it can be worth asking. There is no rigid “one size fits all” price list, and we appreciated that they tried to work with our budget.

Another reason this shop has been such a great fit for us is the convenience of its location. It is close to our home, so dropping off and picking up the car fits easily into our schedule. Some people have assumed discrimination or have suggested that staff are talking about customers when they speak in their own language. In our experience that has never been the case. Speaking in a native language is completely normal for many people in Canada and is part of everyday life in a multicultural country. It is not limited to one culture or background and it is certainly not meant to be rude, secretive or judgmental. At Taylor Tire we have always felt welcomed, respected and comfortable. We appreciate that Canada is diverse and multicultural and that different languages and communication styles are part of that. It is not good to assume negative intent just because a conversation is happening in a language you do not understand.

For those who like to plan ahead, the hours are as follows: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. They are closed on Sunday. It is a busy shop, so it is wise to book ahead or call before you come, but getting a weekend appointment has never been difficult for us. They are very flexible with scheduling and do their best to accommodate customers. One practical tip from our own experience is to try booking your seasonal tire change a little earlier in the year. October and November are peak months because many drivers prepare for winter at the same time, and Canada’s weather can be unpredictable. We personally recommend getting your tires changed after summer or at the beginning of fall to avoid that rush and have more appointment options. It is also much better to have an appointment rather than walk in because you never know how many people will be ahead of you or when your car will be serviced during busy periods. Scheduling ahead gives you a guaranteed time and a smoother experience.
